Cave Junction, Ore. – May 8, 2023 – A ground-breaking ceremony took place on May 3, 2023, at the future site of Cave Junction KOA, located at 25401 Redwood Hwy., Cave Junction.
The ground-breaking ceremony marked the beginning of the construction phase for the new RV park, which will provide a high-quality outdoor hospitality experience for guests. The park will offer a variety of RV sites and amenities, including full hookups, on-site laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, EV charging stations, deluxe tent sites, and more. The park will be designed to accommodate RVs of all sizes and will provide a comfortable and convenient home away from home for travelers.
“We are excited to break ground on this new RV park and be part of the Cave Junction Community. Cave Junction is a natural stopping place between the Oregon Coast and I-5, and we will provide a top-notch outdoor hospitality experience for our guests in this community,” said Cave Junction KOA owner, Heidi DeRoule. “Our team has worked hard to design a park that will meet the needs of modern RV travelers and campers, and we can’t wait to welcome them.”
The ground-breaking ceremony featured members of the city council, as well as representatives from companies working as part of the construction team, including Acme West Construction Inc., Acumen Design Group, PC (formerly Ron Grimes Architects, PC), and Camp’s Custom Excavating.
The new RV park is expected to be completed by early fall 2023, and reservations will be available online at KOA.com/camp/cave-junction.
