Learn to write poetry at your local library

Exploring Western Pantoum Poetry Workshop
Illinois Valley Library will be host for poetry workshop with local poet Lisa Baldwin.
Join local poet Lisa Baldwin at various branches of Josephine Community Library during the month of April to learn about the Western pantoum style of poetry and write your own. Western pantoum is an adaptation of a fifteenth-century Malayan poetry which is engaging for poets of all skill levels.
The schedule for the Exploring Western Pantoum poetry workshop is as follows:
● Saturday, April 22 | 1–2:30 pm | Illinois Valley branch
● Saturday, April 29 | 1–2:30 pm | Williams branch
This program is offered at no charge and open to the public. A library card is not needed to participate.
Lisa is a fifth-generation native Oregonian, who works as a poet and freelance writer, an editor and publisher, a teacher, literary consultant, and self-described poetry evangelist.
