Sealed bids are anticipated to be received 9 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the Josephine County Forestry Office located at 125 Ringuette Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97527. Please go to www.josephinecounty.gov or call 541-474-5291 to confirm the sale date and time. Timber and Logging Contracts to be sold on sealed bid, scale basis.
WCWP Logging Contract 2023LC-1 is located in tax lots 300 of 33-6-31 and 100 of 33-7-36 and is estimated to contain 1,534 mbf of timber.
Wolf Creek Placer Logging Contract 2023LC-2 is located in tax lots 200 of 34-6-6 and is estimated to contain 51 mbf of timber.
Hugo Clean-up Logging Contract 2023LC-3 is located in tax lots 500 of 35-6-2A and is estimated to contain 70 mbf of timber.
Ridgetop 20 Timber Sale 2023TS-1 is located in tax lot 500 of 38-7-20 and is estimated to contain 823 mbf of timber. Minimum bid for this sale is $194,680.00. A bid deposit of $19,000.00 is required.
Lone Elk Timber Sale 2023TS-2 is located in tax lot 100 of 41-9-11 and tax lot 1000 of 41-9-12 and is estimated to contain 870 mbf of timber. Minimum bid for this sale is $201,210.00. A bid deposit of $20,000.00 is required.
The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids in its sole discretion with or without cause. TEXT UPDATE JOSEPHINE COUNTY CODE, TITLE 19 – RURAL LAND DEVELOPMENT TO INCLUDE SECTIONS 19.11 – DEFINITIONS, 19.64 – EXCLUSIVE FARM AND FARM RESOURCE, 19.65 – FOREST COMMERCIAL AND WOODLOT RESOURCE ZONE.
