**GIRLS ROCK! A fun filed day of events for girls ages 9-13, with a parent or another adult, participate in activities that foster communication and explore the fields of science, engineering, math, and technology. Workshops include a variety of choices that demonstrate how STEM is used in everyday life. The girls build, take apart, put together and test their handiwork while learning in a fun, non-judgmental setting. Workshops this year include Designing Your Dream Bedroom, Construct a Whitewater Raft, Computer Programming, Microbots, Scienceworks, Worms in Soil Science and Where do Pearls Come From.
