Tales from the Rural Patrol

Nov. 9
*After multiple warnings, Adrian Alanis was cited for driving while suspended.
*Michelle Richardson was picked up on a warrant for failing to appear for a trespassing and meth charge.
*Daniel Wells was practicing for his next gig as a drummer and couldn’t hear deputies knocking on the door of a house, he wasn’t supposed to be in. Wells was arrested on Trespass 2 charges.
*Daren Alan McCollum was stopped for a traffic violation. Sadly, he was also driving while suspended. But wait, there is more, McCollum had 13 grams of meth and was jailed on charges of possession of meth and driving while suspended revoked.
*A driver was cited for 40 in a 66.

Nov. 10
*64 in a 45 gets you a citation for speeding.
*Daisy was cited for her unlicensed dog. Maybe she and Robbie should get together and fight the power that says they must. Who is Robbie you ask? Keep reading.

*Robbie was upset claiming that it was against the constitution to force him to license his dog. I assume the judge might know something about the constitution and will figure it out. My bet is dogs are not constitutionally protected but what do I know.
*A water truck driver was cited for driving while suspended, no insurance and warned for no endorsement.
*A driver was cited for driving while suspended.
*A driver was cited for failing to register his vehicle

Nov. 13
*Certainly, it’s the puppy that caused Michael Loren Agustine to fail to obey a traffic control device. Not only was his license revoked, he had two warrants for similar charges our of Douglas County. His passenger didn’t have a license so he was given a ride home and a puppy.
*Denise Engbertson was cited because her unlicensed dog was a nuisance.
*Emily Carroll was upset with her father. After getting her out of the locked bathroom she was charged with a probation violation and assault 4.
*Anthony Pope’s driver’s license was suspended so he won a citation.
*Daniel Madden’s lady friend tried to call 911 so he threw her phone out the window. Madden was charged with interfering with a 911 call, harassment and driving under the influence.
*Michael Spliethof’s vehicle was impounded due to driving while suspended, uninsured and didn’t have the correct plates.

Nov. 14
*Cory Davis of California was cited for 94 in a 65 and no driver’s license.
*Two vehicles entered an intersection at the same time and collided. How did that happen you ask? Well, Deven Clark attempted a rolling stop and it didn’t work out for him. Clark was cited for failing to obey a traffic control device.
*Bryan Shelton was in a hurry which turns out to have been a silly thing to do. He was cited for 107 in a 65, driving uninsured and failing to register his vehicle.
*A daily double went down when Richard Chalker Jr. and his lady friend Lindsey Reed were picked up at Chalker Sr.’s home. The duo was wanted on warrants from Grants Pass Police Dept. Chalker’s warrant was for failing to appear for two charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and aggravated theft. Ms. Reed failed to appear on a weapons offense.
*Juan Montejo Matlala was cited for driving while suspended and careless driving. His vehicle was impounded.
*Marcos Osoria Reyes had his vehicle impounded. It was found his license was suspended during a traffic stop for speeding He was cited for 74 in a 45 and driving while suspended.
*California driver Jackson Drawsky was cited for doing 71 in a 45 and no valid operator’s license.
