Once again Grocery Outlet came through with their annual “Independence from Hunger” Campaign donation to Illinois Valley nonprofits just in time for the Thankful Hearts Community Meal held Thanksgiving Day at Jubilee Park. Illinois Valley Living Solutions representatives were on hand to receive the big check for $6,310.13 along with other community partners that receive a portion of the funding to help people with food insecurities. All of the funding stays right here in the Illinois Valley. The big check hand off was held at the Cave Junction Grocery Outlet Tuesday, Nov. 18 with owner Ethan Lane in the center, pictured with IVLS Programs Assistant Stacy Byrne (left), IVLS Board President Josh Gibbs, IVLS Outreach Coordinator Joe Ninnemann, I.V. Wellness Resources Programs Director Brandy Williams and I.V. Family Coalition Executive Director Aaron Howard.
