Community Connections Expo Returns to Celebrate Local Resources, Resilience, and Networking

Cave Junction, OR — September 19, 2025 — The Illinois Valley Community Development Organization (IVCanDO) invites the public to attend the 2025 Community Connections Expo on Saturday, October 11, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lorna Byrne Middle School in Cave Junction.
The annual Expo highlights the power of community by bringing together nonprofits, local agencies, businesses, and residents for a day of connection and networking.
Event Highlights:
Meet local organizations and service providers
Explore health, business, and community resources
The first 100 visitors to gather information from at least three booths will receive $20 ‘Crunch Bucks’ to spend at Josephine County Farm Collective’s farmers market booth for fresh, locally grown food to take home.
Emergency Preparedness Fair: Sponsored by I.V. Wellness Resources, this section of the Expo will help families prepare for emergencies. The first 50 people to complete a survey at their table will take home a free “go bag” stocked with essentials for quick evacuation. Find your community heroes — I.V. Fire District, CERT, and others — in the cafeteria.
Amateur Radio Demonstration: The Illinois Valley Amateur Radio Club will be stationed outside with their Mobile Communication HUB on display.
Enjoy free lunch provided by C & L Antojitos Mexicanos for the first 100 attendees.
The event is family friendly and free to attend.
This event wouldn’t be possible without our generous sponsors:
