Life in the Valley of Riches

I’ll start with a huge thank you for all of your patience lately.
No, I am not OK, but I keep moving, not necessarily forward, however in some direction anyway.
This week’s fiasco was due to my trip to my parents where the travel Gods threw about every single ball of smoke my way.
I should have arrived Monday night with plenty of time to finish the paper by Tuesday night. Long story short, I landed in Little Rock Wednesday evening.
To add to my troubles, the files I uploaded were the wrong ones. This required Stacy to find time in her busy schedule to get to my office and upload the correct ones. The good news is that I will be starting the Oct. 1 edition Saturday.
I’ll be here through the upcoming week playing “care giver,” to my parents.
The time away is giving me opportunity to ponder options of how I could proceed with my life. Its become very clear to me, staying in the Valley isn’t an option.
I’m still working with a group to take over the news, one that will steward her the way she deserves. If you have any interest I will entertain conversations until an agreement of understanding has been inked.
Obviously my heart has not been in it for quite some time, what little heart I have left anyway.
All that aside, please stay with me until a way forward can be figured out.
Thank you for hanging with me for the past 15 years.
