Propagating Roses from Cuttings

The Rogue Valley Rose Society ‘s September program will be “Propagating Roses from Cuttings”. Our presenter is Ingrid Wapelhurst, RVRS member, ARS member , Consulting Rosarian Emeritus with 35 years rose experience in growing and propagating roses. It will be a hands-on demonstration from start to finish with attendees potting up a rose cutting.
Will cover various ways to propagate, keeping rose stem moist, and caring for you rose cutting during the rooting process . We will provide container, potting soil, rooting hormone, labels, and extra rose cuttings for those without.
Please bring gloves, rose pruners, clear ONE liter soda bottle and rose cutting to root. If you’re a beginner bring what you can and come you are.
