Josephine County Sheriff’s Office is participating in a high visibility driving under the influence of intoxicants overtime enforcement event through the Oregon Impact DUII Grant. Funds from this grant allows us to increase staffing for DUII specific patrols between now and Labor Day.
Impaired driving continues to be a preventable problem in our county. Here’s what you can do to help:
*Before drinking, choose a non-drinking designated driver
*Don’t let friends or family drive drunk
*If you don’t have a DD, call a taxi or uber
*If you’re hosting a get together, make sure your guests have a safe way home
