July 25
*A Californian made a donation for doing 70 MPH in a 45!
July 26
*A homeowner called 911 stating that a black Dodge Ram left New Hope Rd. and hit his fence. While the allegedly intoxicated Daniel Newell was trying to leave the scene, the truck became stuck. Newell then entered into a verbal and physical altercation with the homeowner’s son. Newell was arrested on a JoCo felony warrant for theft 1, and felon in possession of a firearm. To add insult to injury, Newell was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and criminal mischief 2.
July 27
*Two newlyweds had a tough night. Their honeymoon at the Discovery Inn turned sour when Aaron Morton allegedly beat his bride leaving heavy bruising over her body, cuts on the back of her head, he also strangled her and dragged her around the yard by her hair. The report states Morton then held Mrs. Morton on the ground and used a hammer to threaten her further. Morton was apprehended at taser point at the 7-11 on 6th and M streets, Ya know, 7-11 chilli cheese dogs are pretty late at night. Morton is charged with assault 4 domestic violence, strangulation, menacing and unlawful use of a weapon.
July 28
*Jessica Pitts aka Dangerfield and her man got into a non-physical argument due to his desire for her to vacate the premises. Her man got his way as Pitts was given a ride to Grants Pass for a failure to appear.
- Like every great honeymoon story, deputies picked up Aaron Morton on a warrant issued by the U.S. Marshals for a probation violation. Morton is currently detained in the JoCo Jail awaiting extradition.
*The hungry driver of a Mazda ran the stop sign at Laurel Rd. onto 199. Unfortunately, the driver got the wrong steak, the Mazda T-boned into an RV. Three people walked away with one passenger needing an ice pack for their swollen elbow. The driver of the Mazda was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
July 29
*A frustrated dog owner in the 600 block of Smarkand Dr. was cited for a K9 nuisance. Three additional citations were issued for an unlicensed K9. The owner had received prior warnings but needs help with financing and building a better fence.
*A lead foot was cited for 80 MPH in a 55.

July 30
*A driver was cited for driving while suspended at Robinson Bridge Rd.
*Christopher Davis was picked up on a warrant for failure to appear on a meth possession charge. Go figure.
*Daniel Hlavinka apparently didn’t like life on the outside. Hlavinka is sitting in jail on an Oregon Parole Board warrant for the parole violation of unlawful use of a vehicle.
*Igor Minic has a court date Aug. 19 for criminal trespass 2. Minic was cited and released.
*Richard Mastin was in the wrong place at the right time. Law enforcement was looking for someone and it wasn’t Mastin. However, he was warned for an illegal u-turn and driving while suspended. To add insult to injury, The guy they were not looking for was cited on a fail to appear warrant out of Clackamas.
*A caller alleged that two akitas attacked her. When confronted Jeremy M Degonia claimed he didn’t have a dog. When it became clear he did, Degonia had no idea why he lied to law enforcement. His two akitas Lucy and Rocco made a break for it and behaved poorly. Now the two bad dogs have caused citations to be issued for two counts of K9s as a public nuisance (potentially dangerous dogs).
*Meth has been busy lately. Breanna Vineyard and James Patterson were detained at the JoCo Jail. Patterson was cited for possession of meth and Vineyard had a warrant. Their meth machine was towed.
*Sarah Jaentsch was cooperative with deputies while walking barefoot northbound on 199 while rambling to herself. She did have a skirt on. She was cited for failure to appear on a possession of controlled substance – meth. Sarah was given a bottle of water and sent on her way.
*Jaycee Deakins was in a hurry to go wherever she was going, then Deakins was cited for 68 MPH in a 40.
July 31
*Bruce Hughes was served a Medford PD warrant on NE F St. for, wait for it, failure to appear and possession of meth!
*If you think people were shot, make sure they really were before tying up responders. Lisa Wilson was charged with initiating a false police report. Apparently, she called 911 10 times about dead bodies, maybe dead bodies, maybe it was a tree, I don’t know. It’s hard to figure out what the heck happened but regardless, Wilson now has a seat in the JoCo Jail. Silly rabbits, unless you are a sitting county commissioner, don’t file falsified police reports.
*Cooper was a bad boy, not only was his (actually not his) stolen Nissan towed, Cooper was charged with using a motor vehicle that he wasn’t authorized to use, but the silly goose, a felon, was in possession of a firearm.
*Tina Maple failed to register a sex offender after being pulled over not having a license plate on her truck. To top her bad day, she was also cited for driving while suspended and her passenger wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Wonder what was going on with that?
*Dallas Silva was observed driving while tipsy. After a blood test at the hospital, Silva was detained at the JoCo Jail.
*After running cars off the road, driving on the wrong side of the road, Eric Aquilina Vasquez hit a street sign and was arrested at an undisclosed location for driving under the influence and reckless driving. Vasquez received a night in the JoCo Jail.
*Grace Lucille Kidd was cited for no insurance and was warned for careless driving on Allen Creek Rd.
Aug. 1
*A night with barking dogs, screaming, sounds of things breaking, an unconscious male in a driver’s seat of a car and lights flashing on and off, ended up with Angelica Borreson being arrested for assault 3, unlawful use of a weapon and a ride to jail.
*Kacee Farwell was picked up on a JoCo felony warrant for failure to appear for criminal mischief. Farwell was cited and released.
*A Moped without plates, endorsement and no VIN driven by a driver without helmet, caused John Hergenrether to get a ticket and his toy towed.
*Play stupid games, when stupid prizes. Matthew Tingle, Coi Whitehorn and Ashton Kriskey won a trip to jail and charges of possession of a stolen vehicle. The stolen U-Haul out of Oklahoma City was towed.
Aug. 2
*A caller described an older white male sitting in a vehicle where it shouldn’t have been. Terry Caricello was charged with possession of meth. Older? He is only 36. Was it the meth?
*Jaci Hoyt’s toast must have landed jelly side down on the floor to make him stab his roommate with a butter knife. The victim refused transportation with AMR. Hoyt was charged with assault 2 and unlawful use of a weapon.
*Laura Zukowski was charged with violating a no contact order. It’s a little confusing if Zukowski has a biting problem or if it was her dog. It’s unlikely it was the dog as it was released into the custody of Zukowski’s friend. Either way, proceed at your own risk – one of them charged recently for biting.
*This week has gone to the dogs! A driver was bent down to grab a drink and thought they should take the opportunity to move a dog, while taking their eyes off the road. A curve that was sharper than the driver caused the truck to flip. No, they were not intoxicated and were cited for driving without insurance.
*Zachrie Mencarelli took a page from Cooper and the three stooges from Oklahoma. He was driving a stolen vehicle. The report states the Silverado Pickup was stolen from Reedsport. Two women were involved in some way, but isn’t that always the case. Ha, that’s all folks!
