Belva “Bee” Alice Robinson

January 1, 1923 – July 6, 2025

Belva Alice Robinson, lovingly known as “Bee,” passed away peacefully of natural causes in the home she and her beloved husband Les built in Cave Junction, Oregon, on July 6, 2025, at the age of 102.
Bee’s remarkable journey began on January 1, 1923, in Sterling, Illinois, where she was born to Ruth and Roy Ebersole. Raised on a farm and surrounded by a large and loving family, Bee’s early years were filled with the values of hard work, deep faith, and joyful togetherness. She is survived by her dear brothers, Eugene and Willard, along with her step siblings Roy Jr., Sue Ellen and Verna and is now reunited with her cherished siblings Katherine, Anita, Charles, Miriam, Everett, Bob, Betty, Russell, Gertrude, and Pauline. She was preceded in death by her son Jerry, her daughter Becky and her grandson Kelly.
Bee’s life was defined by her unwavering devotion to her family, her steadfast faith in God, and her vibrant, contagious laughter that brought light wherever she went. A devoted member of Community Bible Church in Cave Junction, Bee, along with her best friend Martha, led a women’s Bible study for many years and was a faithful part of the church’s prayer chain —always lifting others up with compassion, wisdom, and scripture.
Her love for her community was evident in everything she did. Each year, she joyfully participated in the annual Blackberry Festival, baking pies, crafting handmade goods, and for several years, running a Hot dog and Polish sausage stand with Les—proudly serving local favorites from Taylor’s Sausage and sharing warm smiles with festival-goers.
Bee’s faith was not just spoken but lived out every day. In her own words, she once wrote:
“I saw you this morning, Lord, in the hummingbird who came my way. So small, but yet so miraculous and pretty. I saw you this morning in the beauty of the flowers. The white reminds me of your purity. The purple for your majesty. Tonight, I saw you in the heavens, full of your creation — the stars, the moon, as far as I can see. Let me be what you want me to be by letting others see you in me. Christ in me, the hope of glory.”
She is survived by her daughter, Kitty and son Larry, her brothers Eugene and Willard, her grandchildren, Julie, Jackie, Jamie, Mathew, Nathan, Kristen, China and Gracie, and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom carry her legacy of grace, strength, and gentle faith.
A celebration of Bee’s life will be held at a later date, with details to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her memory to Community Bible Church, honoring her lifelong dedication to prayer, fellowship, and service.
Bee’s life was one of purpose, filled with love, laughter, and faith. She touched countless hearts and leaves behind a legacy of light. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
