July 14
*At the 1000 block of Panther Gulch Rd., neighbors of a couple that had been screaming at each other for hours finally got fed up and called the police. Sidney David Kennedy, 53, was arrested for driving while revoked and his car was towed.
*Bryan Hunter, 62, was arrested after harassing numerous people in the 200 block of Tetherow Road. He was described as wearing a peach-colored tank top with tan shorts and driving a moped. After showing up, he got aggressive with several “board members”, slapped the phone out of the reporting person’s hands, and was verbally fighting with everyone. Hunter was charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, harassment, poor fashion choices, and driving a moped.
*A man who was away fighting fires asked his sister to check in on his property in the 700 block of Cheney Rd. while he was gone. She saw that his truck was missing and reported it. Police did not recover the vehicle, but the fireman found it. Timothy Cooper, 65, was arrested for failing to appear on a Douglas County warrant for DUII and reckless driving.
*Yet another man was threatening people, yelling at customers, and harassing everyone at Shop Smart in Cave Junction. William Damon, 44, tried to “donkey kick” an officer after being confronted at taser-point, but was taken to the ground by said officer, and put in shackles. He was charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, and attempted assault on a peace officer.
*For unknown reasons, Laura Zukowski, 41, was naked and arrested on assault charges in the 300 block of Redwood Highway.
July 16
*Robert Wiggins, 70, was wigging out in the 100 block of Harley Ln., and was subsequently arrested for unlawful use of a weapon and menacing.
*Two people were detained for previous warrants in the 10500 block of Lower River Road. Sarh Rutan, 37, was taken to jail for possessing a controlled substance, and on a federal warrant from the National Parks Service for driving while suspended and failure to pay required fees. Christopher Rymer, 34, was arrested on a Douglas County warrant for failure to comply. You’d better put that five bucks in the little envelope when you go to the park, or you might end up in a cell with these two.

July 17
*Anthony Hindle, 38, had a warrant from the Oregon State Parole Board for kidnapping, and was thrown into the slammer after being caught by deputies at Plumtree Ln. and Pooh Lane. Oh, bother! I just hope Eeyore is okay.
*Solomon Pacheco, 45, didn’t notice the construction workers with their bright orange vests, stop signs, and “construction ahead” signs, and rear-ended someone. Surprisingly enough, he was charged with a DUII and reckless driving.

July 18
*A report of a dog biting a 10-year-old turned out to be two exes fighting, but the K9 was deemed innocent. However, Mikayla Ball, 25, was given a citation for having a potentially dangerous dog in the 800 block of NW 6th Street. Don’t drag Fido into your drama.
July 19
*Two people had to be restrained and hobbled after an apparent disagreement. Jeremy Teixiera, 45, was charged on a parole violation for criminal mischief, and Kylia Cooper, 33, was also arrested for disorderly conduct, attempted assault on a peace officer, and resisting arrest. Sounds like a future double-date to me!
*Fentanyl possession landed Aliczander Mikal McClaymonds, 34, in the JoCo jailhouse on Grants Pass Police Department warrant. Calls from Bulgaria and Ireland were made.
July 20
*A boring citation was given to a driver at Upper River Rd. and SW Ford Street. Not going out on a high note. See you next week!
