** 9 a.m.-2 p.m. is “The Clean Sweep”, a massive trash cleanup on Kerby Mainline Road in Kerby. Brought to you by the CJ Farmer’s Market and the Motherline! Come experience the joy and satisfaction of getting the trash out of wild spaces on public land. Bring gloves and water and please RSVP is you can bring a pickup truck by calling 541-294-0260. See you at “The Clean Sweep” Saturday, June 28 from 9am – 2pm on Kerby Mainline, a.k.a. the road to the Kerby Transfer Station.

TUESDAYS
** Food Pantry 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Cave Junction Adventist/Community Services Food Distribution, 265 S. Old Stage Rd. Volunteers are needed to help stock, date check, sort food, pack boxes and handout food boxes, etc. to volunteer please email cavejunctionacs@gmail.com. Contributions can by made out to the CJ Seventh-day Adventist Church and identify that they are in support of the Community Service by writing “CJACS” in the memo section of your check. ** Wednesdays: Community Health Pop Up Events Jubilee Park at noon – 1:30 p.m. (or until supplies are gone) -MINT Food pantry, bottled water, wound care supplies, STD prevention materials & HIV testing, Max’s Mission for Narcan, camping gear as available and more. Lunch served by I.V. Living Solutions at noon until they run out of food. Sponsored by MINT, I.V. Living Solutions Max’s Mission and HIV Alliance. Last Wednesday of the month more services available from DHS, Mid Rouge Foundation, UCAN, VA, OnTrack and Options. ** East River Street Gardens is open to the public Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m. for work party, subject to change due to summer weather conditions. Children’s activities from noon to 2 p.m. Free for everyone, all ages welcome.
** Take your bottles and cans to IVCanDo’s Cans for Kids behind the Chevron Station 10 – 2.

ONGOING
** Illinois Valley Soil & Water Conservation District will meet the fourth Thursday of the month January through October at 6 p.m. at their office- 331 E Cottage Park Drive suite 1B November and December meetings will be held the third Thursday.
** Illinois Valley Watershed Council will meet on the second Thursday of each month at 5 p.m. at the office at 331 E Cottage park Dr Suite 1B.
** Volunteers Wanted Josephine County Sheriff’s Office is seeking volunteers for the following; Staffing the Merlin and Cave Junction Substations; Patrol including providing vacation home checks, checking parks & boat ramps, locating and tagging abandoned vehicles. And providing court safety.

** Volunteers wanted for Illinois Valley Wellness Resources to assist senior and disabled residents in their home with light duty activities and /or socialization and to drive residents to doctor or grocery store. ** HIV Alliance offers services in Cave Junction every Tuesday from noon – 3 p.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church (across from Shop Smart). Services include: Free and confidential HIV and Hep C testing. Needle Exchange and drop box (all syringes welcome), and overdose response and Naloxone training.

**Please donate to our Pop Up Community Health Event/Meal. Socks of all kinds or wet wipes are always needed. Nonperishable foods or fresh fruit and veggies are welcome. Living Solutions office at 315 Caves Hwy Suite C, Thursday or Fridays are best from 10 – 4 or drop a bag off at the pop up Wednesdays at Jubilee Park from 12 – 1 p.m.
