IVHS Baseball Season Ends with Playoff Loss, Coach Dugas Bids Farewell
On May 26, the IVHS baseball team’s season came to a close with a bittersweet ending as they suffered a 6-3 first-round playoff loss to Heppner/Ione. The defeat marked a disappointing end to Coach Dugas’ final year at the helm. Despite the playoff exit, the team had a strong showing throughout the season, culminating in eight players receiving conference honors. The highlight of these accolades was senior Zach Dugas being named Player of the Year. “Seeing so many players recognized for their contributions, is a testament to their commitment. I’m confident in the future of IVHS baseball.”
