The chilly wind didn’t keep folks from bringing their pets and children to the Children’s Fair and Pet Parade sponsored by Siskiyou Community Health Center at Jubilee Park Saturday, May 3.
The children and families lined up to parade their pets on the stage at the Jubilee Park Pavilion and presented fun facts about their pet with the help of an event announcer. After the children left the stage they were given a ribbon and got to pick out a prize from a huge selection brought by the Siskiyou Community Health Center staff.
Other booths and informational tables were present from the Boys and Girls Club, Library, UCAN, Kiwanis, I.V. Fire Explorer Post, Head Start, and many more. Plus there was activities like face painting, beading, hands on science and seed planting.
The children were all smiles eating popcorn and showing off their beloved pets.
