On a beautiful sunny Easter day at Jubilee Park in Cave Junction Sunday, April 20, the Lions Club held their annual Easter Egg Hunt. The park was packed full of parents watching their children lineup to hunt for stuffed plastic eggs in the grass and get a high five from the Lion mascot or a hug from the cuddly Easter Bunny in its new Easter outfit. The Lions Club members were out in force cooking food and driving children around Jubilee Park in their famous train.
Monique Allen from I.V. Yea! was in attendance handing out Easter baskets and the Illinois Valley Fire District crew was there with fire engines letting the youngsters look inside the Big Red. Thank you Lions Club for continuing this free family event!
