March 22
*Bethany Horne, 44, was cited for driving uninsured somewhere in Josephine County.
*Gleeford Honn, 83, was not filled with glee when he was ticketed for failure to obey a traffic light and warned for expired tags in the 900 block of Galice Road.
*Nicholas Montelone, 30, was arrested for driving while suspended in an undisclosed location. Mysterious!
*Ronald Caldwell, 61, was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, and careless driving in the 300 block of Merlin Road. A stolen firearm was recovered by the deputy.
*At SW G St. and SW Wildwood Ln. Michael Wellwood, 48, was issued a citation for failing to obey a traffic light and having no license. When the light says red, you’d better stop and obey it. Well, would you?
*Michael Deleone, 39, was seen driving into the boat landing area in the 12000 block of Lower River Rd. and was cited for DWS and warned for trespassing.
March 23
*A California driver got a speeding ticket at the Burger King. They really wanted that Whopper, but obviously misunderstood the meaning of fast food.
*A white Cadillac was towed from the 900 block of SE 6th St. as the driver was suspended.
*Brian W. Domin Jr., 37, consented to vehicle search at Oxyoke Rd. and Three Pines Road. Lo and behold, the officer found some meth. He was arrested on assault and possession charges.
March 24
*Two vehicles were approached at an unknown location, and all the occupants were trespassed.
March 25
*A speeder was warned, but cited for DWS at Rogue River Hwy and Whispering Pines Lane.
*A person only identified as “Dixon” was only issued a citation for having switched license plates on a burgundy motorcycle, DWS, unsafe passing, and warned for no insurance, and not license. What a lucky Dixon.
*A speeder was ticketed on Rogue River Hwy. at Greens Creek Road.
*Someone was going 75 in a 35 mph zone with no driver’s license, and was ticketed on Rogue River Hwy. and Apple Lane.
March 26
*Brian W. Domin Jr., 37, just couldn’t wait to be arrested twice in one week! He got popped in the 6700 block of Monument Dr. for contempt of court for violating a no contact order. That’s pretty methed up.
*Two men were trespassed off of a property on Peavine Road, and a 3rd subject fled. Jonathan Carlson, 36, and Ronnie Bishop, 54, were seen hauling equipment off the property, but the other person who left will be charged with criminal mischief and trespassing when their identity is confirmed.
March 27
*Three Akita mixes made a hole in their owner’s fence and got their owner Daniel B. Walker, 46, a citation for loose dogs and licensing issues in the 5600 block of New Hope Road.
*A woman sent a text message to a friend saying, “If anything happens to me, (end up missing or dead) save these texts”, which included pictures of her injuries. The friend then called police leading them to the 133000 block of Redwood Highway where Jeffrey C. Engerseth, 51, answered the door. He refused to come out and tried to go back in when a deputy grabbed him by the arm to stop him, as he heard a female voice inside and didn’t want him to cause any more bodily injury to her. The victim was “less than cooperative” and didn’t want to disclose the full truth of the assault. She was advised of domestic violence victim’s options.
*A dog named Dum-Dum was running loose in the 600 block of Forest Creek Rd. and Tanja L. Nicholas was given a citation.
*The driver of an old pickup truck was going too fast in the rain and rearended a nice Chrysler while the driver was pulling into his driveway. The two men began arguing, but were civil enough when police arrived in the 2300 block of Holland Loop Road. The driver was cited for following too close.
March 28
*Carlose Jose Guadalupe Arrendo Rodriguez, (yes, that is only one person) was warned for speeding, no insurance, and expired registration. The nineteen-year-old was told to stay put until his mom came to pick him up at Redwood Hwy. and Redwood Avenue.
*At Rogue River Hwy. and Greens Creek Rd. Diane Webb, 67, was ticketed for speeding.
*Evan A. Mallory, 34, was arrested on duii and reckless driving charges on Rogue River Hwy. and Fruitdale Drive. His Washington plates didn’t match the VIN and were confiscated.
March 29
*Careless driving led to a citation for Tyler Meek, 17, at Stringer Gar and New Hope Road.
*Richard Williams, 54, was cited for driving his un-plated Dodge while suspended and his license was seized in the 6400 block of Williams Highway.
*John Hindle, 32, was also cited for dws in the 1500 block of Southgate Way.
*Kaitlyn Ogren, 17, got a speeding ticket on Redwood Hwy. and Boundary Lane.
*Dennis Haugh, 61, was advised to check in with his parole officer after he was cited for driving while suspended near Redwood Hwy. and Redwood Avenue.
*Another suspended driver was cited at Demaray Dr. and College Dr., but he also was uninsured. Shawn Gillen, 32, had his vehicle towed.
*Amen McDonald, 52, was arrested for contempt of court in the 3800 Lower River Road. Deputies waited with the female passenger until she got a ride with a sober adult. Amen.
