Josephine County Airport Director Steve Dobbs accepted the voluntary resignation package offered by Josephine County. Steve’s last date was March 7th.
Josephine County is searching for an Airport Manager, the job description and application are currently posted on the Josephine County website. The closing date is March 13, 2025. Josephine County strives to hire the Airport Manager by the end of March 2025.
Two important projects for the Grants Pass Airport are underway. Information and maps are posted in the office.
- The water and sewer project has started. Equipment and safety traffic control flaggers are present, please be patient and careful. The contractor, Knife River, will be using the westside grass area (Denver entrance) and the utility road behind the private hangars. For your safety do not block the utility road.
- Notice to proceed has been issued for the new hangar project. The contractor, JB Steel, will be starting site prep at the end of March.
