Laurie S. Lyons was born to Lew and Bonnie Lyons. She passed to the waiting arms of the Lord on Nov. 17, 2024 at her home in Cave Junction.
Laurie enjoyed an idyllic childhood in Long Beach, California. After graduation she was employed with Long Beach Police Department as a clerk/ secretary. She occasionally played a decoy on prostitution stings. After she retired, she joined her parents, brother Steve and his wife Terri and sister Sally in Cave Junction.
Many knew her from her part-time job at the smoke store and then at the Cave Junction Liquor Store with her bestie Jeanette.
After a lymphoma diagnosis she retired again and fought the good fight, never complaining.
She was an animal lover all her life, taking in strays and feeding the deer and squirrels. Instead of flowers, adopt a cat or dog. Laurie had many friends and will be truly missed.
Celebration of Life to be held in spring.
