Windermere Real Estate Southern Oregon’s office presented a $1,000 donation to the Illinois Valley Family Coalition. The funds presented Dec. 9 at the IVFC will help support a critical one-stop resource center by offering essential services for families and individuals in need by providing prevention, education, advocacy and referral services in partnership with other community resources to enhance the stability and quality of life within the Illinois Valley.
The donation is part of the Windermere Foundation’s commitment to supporting local communities. Since 1989, the foundation has donated over $50 million to programs assisting low-income and homeless families.

instability or lacking access to these facilities
  • Bus Tokens: Ensuring accessible transportation for families to reach essential services
such as healthcare, education and employment
  • IDs and Birth Certificates: Assisting families in securing vital identification documents for work, school and social services.
  • Emergency Supplies: Providing essential items to families facing immediate hardships.
  • Public Computer Lab Supplies: Equipping a resource that helps children and families with internet access for job applications, educational resources and other critical needs.
“We are proud to be able to provide this donation in support of this program that provides the essential services needed by our local low-income and homeless families. We invite our community to join us in supporting the Illinois Valley Family Coalition whose mission is to help our local families working toward brighter futures,” said Windermere Principal Broker Marian Szewc.
For the past 34 years, the Windermere Foundation has donated a portion of the proceeds from every home purchased or sold towards supporting low-income and homeless families in our communities. What started in 1989 as a grassroots foundation serving families in need in Washington State, has grown to encompass ten states and has raised over $50 million for programs and organizations that provide shelter, clothing, children’s programs, emergency assistance, and other services to those who need our help the most.
