*A man in the 1900 block of Fruitdale Drive called 911 after some sort of scuffle which resulted in injuries. After video review, it turns out that both parties had damaged each other’s personal property during their separation, but before the man was served a restraining order. He was then given 20 minutes to gather his belongings and leave the property. Eileen Rastellini, 62, was however arrested on charges of attempted assault. They say that breaking up is hard to do.
*A fix-it ticket was issued to an uninsured driver in the 800 block of SE Mill Street.
*A Beagle and a miniature Pinscher were reported to be off their property in the 2100 block of Fish Hatchery Road, and it wasn’t the first time. Alexander J. Reed, 40, said that the dogs are fenced in, but stuff happens. She also said that she wasn’t a robot, and the neighbor needs to get off her back. Beep-boop-bop, she got a citation.

*A caller said they did not want to testify in court because they were worried the person might retaliate if they knew who they were. In the 7300 block of Applegate Road, the reporting person had photographs of 2 young Huskies attacking cats and carrying dead cats in their mouths. Jacob A. Michaels, 40, was ticketed and advised on proper fencing and licensing.

*Justin Brighman, 43, was arrested on charges of FTA, assault, probation violation, and a warrant for unlawful use of a marijuana item after he was reported to be yelling and pounding on the outside of someone’s trailer in the 900 block of Lakeshore Drive. Apparently, he was upset because he thought their 7-year-old took 2 cupcakes from his residence. Brighman admitted he had a sledgehammer and hit the trailer earlier. He also stated he “probably shouldn’t be living with her because he was arrested for beating her up earlier this year.” I think he may have taken the word “batter” wrong when making his cupcakes.
*Improper display of plates led to a citation for a driver who had a suspended license near Galice and Hugo Roads, but their friend who was licensed took over the wheel.

Upon arrival, deputies asked that one of the three dogs be put inside because it was being aggressive. Julie Love, (according to the police report) stated “the dog is dead, I don’t know where it is.” The report further stated, and I quote, “One of the others looked like shy, she denied it said its name is, the other looked like she said no, it was.” I don’t know about you folks, but I’m more confused than a baby at a burlesque show! Love was cited for having a potentially aggressive dog.
