Sept. 13
*William Ingrid, 54, was warned for speeding and cited for driving while suspended near Redwood Highway and Neill Road.
*A man at S. Sawyer Avenue and W. Lister Street reported that a man on a bicycle came through his gate and stole the chain off of his gate, leaving him unable to lock it. He had a picture of the man, who was a known transient to deputies. Donald Phillips, 44, was subsequently trespassed from the I.V. Thrift Store and arrested of theft, criminal trespass and possession of methamphetamine.
*A woman on Lincoln Road called authorities to report that a man threw her to the ground and was kicking and kneeing her. While she denied medical attention, Thomas Phillips, 23, was not denied a trip to the Josephine County Jail while being arrested on attempted assault, menacing and domestic violence charges.
Sept. 14
*A neighbor claimed that there is an ongoing issue with her neighbor’s Great Dane getting onto her property on Redwood Highway and had video proof. Heather Pence, 40, was cited and advised to keep the big pooch away from the neighbor’s yard.
Sept. 15
*At Merlin Road and Allman Way, Dylan Sites, 40, was pulled over and arrested on DUII and reckless driving charges after being sent to Three Rivers Medical Center for a blood draw and had his vehicle impounded.
*After being checked in on by a friend on Venture Place, Tanya Calvert, 57, was cited for violating a court order. Both the man and the woman, who has a history of violence, believed they were allowed to see each other, which was not the case. Though there were firearms in the house, all was peaceful between the two, but Calvert was advised to stay away from the victim until she was off parole.
Sept. 16
*Blake Meyers was cited for speeding on Foothill Boulevard near Averill Drive.
*At Monument Drive and California Avenue, Daphne Burr, 43, was warned for failure to renew her registration and cited for driving while suspended and uninsured.
Sept. 17
*A weekend altercation over a weekend camping trip led to a student at school near IVHS calling and threatening to kill the complainant. The unnamed student in the 3000 block of Caves Highway was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon.
*A person called police from the 100 block of Lone Mountain Road saying a man was throwing several large rocks at him. The subject went into the O’Brien Store talking to himself and left, but was found shortly after by authorities. Travis Davenport, 39, was taken into custody for menacing and had meth in full view in his pocket.
*A woman on Caves Highway said a son was beating his father. She also stated that he needed to go to the Crisis Center, and possibly needed an ambulance as he was “smoking pot and out of his head.” A call back from the woman led to the son’s arrest as he was breaking into the residence and breaking windows.
Sept. 18
*A woman in the 17000 block of Caves Highway phoned law enforcement saying she was with the Oregon State Treasury and the property was appointed by the courts to her. Upon bringing a cleaning crew in, it was discovered that a man was trespassing and cutting down trees. His last known residence was under the Hogue Drive Bridge, although his friend stated that he had been living at the Caves Highway residence for a couple of weeks. The man was charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
*Donald Doney, 47, was charged with harassment at E. Lister Street and N. Redwood Highway. He was cited to appear in court in lieu of arrest.
*The driver of a quad was cited for driving while suspended on O’Brien Road.
Sept, 19
*In the 1700 block of Willians Highway, Jeffrey Seymour, 47 was warned for being uninsured and cited for unsafe passing.
*On South Redwood Highway, Adam Vogel, 54, was cited to appear at the Josephine County Circuit in lieu of arrest after being charged with failure to perform the duties of a driver resulting in property damage.
*Kristle Smart, 39, thought it was wise to steal flowers, beer, and deli items from Shop Smart on W. Watkins Road. Her parole officer was notified and she was subsequently trespassed from the property for one year. She obviously didn’t use her head and was arrested for trespassing and theft.
*A driver was cited for speeding in a school zone on Laurel Road.
*Robert Snow, 75, was popped by his parole officer after they found a pistol and ammo in his safe on Kingsley Drive. Snow, a convicted felon, was requested by the jail to be cleared by Three Rivers Medical Center before heading there. The reporting party wants him arrested and a report submitted to the District Attorney. Snow was cited to appear in court in lieu of arrest. He was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. The pistol and ammo were seized as evidence.
*Lisa Lorraine Smith, 61, was arrested on a warrant out of Douglas County for criminal mischief.
*A warning for having no front license plate and failure to renew registration was issued to Elan Martin-Johnson, 28, and citation was issued for driving while suspended on S. Junction Avenue.
*At Redwood Highway and Applegate Avenue, Blake Philippi, 32, was cited for speeding.
*An officer had to catch up with a zippy little Mini Cooper on Redwood Avenue and Robinson Road. Corey Welch, 31, was issued a citation for going a whopping 112mph in a 55 zone.
*A man on Darnielle Lane called 911 saying his girlfriend of 8 months attacked him. He was dazed and complained of dizziness and was brought to the hospital by ambulance. Charity Weldy, 19, was arrested for assault and domestic violence.
