Notice is further given that any person named in Section 86.778 of Oregon Revised Statutes has the right to have the foreclosure proceeding dismissed and the Trust Deed reinstated by payment to the Beneficiary of the entire amount then due (other than such portion of said principal as would not then be due had no default occurred), together with the costs, Trustee’s or attorney’s fees and curing any other default complained of in the Notice of Default by tendering the performance required under the obligation or Trust Deed, at any time prior to five days before the date last set for sale. Without limiting the Trustee’s disclaimer of representations or warranties, Oregon law requires the Trustee to state in this notice that some residential property sold at a Trustee’s sale may have been used in manufacturing methamphetamines, the chemical components of which are known to be toxic. Prospective purchasers of residential property should be aware of this potential danger before deciding to place a bid for this property at the Trustee’s sale. NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETINGS

Our first public meeting of the Budget Committee of Josephine County, Oregon to review and discuss the budget for fiscal year July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, is set for 4:00 pm, May 15th, in the Ann Basker Auditorium. Further meetings will be set at the first meeting, but are tentatively scheduled for 4:00 pm May 22, June 4, and June 5, 2024, in the Anne Basker Auditorium. Please check our website at www.josephinecounty.gov to confirm date, time, and location of subsequent meetings.
The meetings will be live streamed on the County’s website and can be viewed at https://www.josephinecounty.gov/livestream. Anyone wishing to attend the meeting remotely can do so via Zoom. If you wish to remotely attend the meeting, please email bcc@josephinecounty.gov and include “Remote Attendance” in the subject line, and our office will reply with a Zoom invitation.
There will be opportunity for public comment on the proposed budget at all meetings. All comments will be subject to a three-minute limit per community member.
Public comment will be taken in person, in writing, via Zoom, and phone-in. Written comments must be received by 4:00 pm the day before the meeting. All written comments must include the author’s name and residence location and have “Public Comment” in the subject line of the email. Please email to bcc@josephinecounty.gov. The Kerby Water District (KWD) will hold its monthly board meeting on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Kerby Belt Building, 24353 Redwood Hwy. The meeting will include but not be limited to monthly business and financial reports. This is a public meeting and both the public and district members are encouraged to attend.
