Jenny Lee Biggs was born on March 13, 1944 to Melvin and Holly Landaker. She died at her home in Kerby March 28, 2024.
Jenny was a fifth generation resident of the Illinois Valley. She was born in Medford and was proud of her pioneer heritage, since her great-grandparents immigrated to Oregon in the early 1800s by ship around the horn and by wagon train from the east.
She loved to hike and hunt wild mushrooms and was a collector of beautiful rocks. She enjoyed tending to the fruit trees and plants on the property her family has owned and lived on for more than 100 years. She was a great cook and was happy to create beautiful food while her family and friends gathered around.
She cared for everyone she met and was instantly loved by all. She will always be loved and truly missed by all of us.
She is survived by four children: her daughter, JoAnn Woelfle of Nehalem, Ore.; and her sons: John Winslow, of Reno, Nev., Joe Winslow and Steve Biggs, both of Kerby, Ore.; as well as seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
John Lockhart, 84, of Cave Junction, died April 13, 2024 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.
