Edward William Richardson, Sr.
Edward William Richardson, Sr. died Feb. 15, 2024 at his home in Cave Junction. He was born in Albany, Calif., was the son of Alma Corinne Richardson, and a Navy veteran. A resident of Cave Junction since 2009, he was active in his community especially in the congregation of Good Shepherd Lutheran church where he was a member. His generosity and desire to serve led him, along with his wife, to put on annual Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for the congregation and the community. He was also always there to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. Ed will especially be remembered for his quick sense of humor, his infectious laugh, and the joy he shared with others.
He is survived by his wife, Annemarie Richardson; his daughter Nicole Chavez; his son Edward (Willy) Richardson Jr.; his stepdaughter Kelley Schultz; his stepson, Barry Schultz; his brother Jim Richardson; his three sisters; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. March 23 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 150 Lewis Ct., in Cave Junction.
