Cans for Kids, a beloved local program dedicated to supporting youth organizations, was recently hit by a setback as their storage container, housing generous donations of cans and bottles, was broken into. The unfortunate incident resulted in the loss of crucial contributions meant to fuel their fundraising efforts for various youth programs. Despite this setback, I.V. Community Development Organization remains steadfast in their commitment to aiding these groups and is calling upon the community to help bridge the gap caused by this unexpected loss. Supporters are urged to contribute cash donations or drop off extra cans and bottles to replenish the shortfall. Additionally, the nonprofit welcomes donations at their regular Saturday donation hours.
