INVITATION TO BID
Josephine County Fairgrounds Host House
Exterior and Window Replacement

Josephine County Fairgrounds is accepting bids for the Fairgrounds Host House Exterior and Window Replacement project. Sealed bids will be accepted at Josephine Fairgrounds, 1451 Fairgrounds Road, Grants Pass, Oregon 97527 until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read, and after which time they will not be received or accepted. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted to: McKenzie Crume, Senior Administrative Supervisor, Josephine County Fairgrounds, 1451 Fairgrounds Road, Grants Pass, OR 97527.
This project requires the contractor to provide all labor, equipment and materials for replacing all forty-three (43) windows, fixing or replacing the siding, and preparing and painting the Host House at the Fairgrounds. Bid documents may be viewed and downloaded at the following website link:

Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference: A mandatory pre-bid conference and walkthrough will be held at the site at the Host House at the Josephine County Fairgrounds, 1451 Fairgrounds Road, Grants Pass Oregon 97527 on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Bidders or their authorized representatives are required to attend this mandatory pre-bid conference. Bids will be accepted only from Bidders who have attended the pre-bid conference.
Prequalification of Bidders is required. Bidders may obtain a Prequalification Application from Josephine County Facilities Services, 705 NW Dimmick Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526. The class of work for which Bidders must be prequalified is Construction. Prequalification Applications must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. on January 15, 2024. THREE RIVERS SCHOOL DISTRICT
BUDGET COMMITTEE CITIZEN MEMBERS NEEDED

The Three Rivers School District Board of Directors is looking for two volunteers to fill positions on the Budget Committee. These positions are for Zones I and IV, effective through June 30, 2025.

The Board will be accepting applications for appointment to fill the expired vacancies. All applications must be submitted to the District Office no later than January 5, 2024. Applicants must be registered voters and reside within the Three Rivers School District. Lister Street, Cave Junction, Oregon, the Common Council of the City of Cave Junction will meet in accordance with Land Use Hearing Rules and ORS 197.763, will hold a Public Hearing to consider a Class C Variance for a Commercial Sign submitted by HRP LLC/Lil Pantry for property located at 101 W Hanby Lane. Assessor’s Map (39-08-16-DB TL 121). This property is currently zoned Commercial and is one tax lot at 3.48 acres. The request would allow Lil Pantry to have a ground sign that is larger than the current code allows. Possible actions include Approval, Approval with Conditions, Disapproval, Table, or Continue.

SUMMARY STATEMENT OF BASIS FOR CRIMINAL FORFEITURE
On 05/19/22; 12/06/22 the above-described property was seized by the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office. The property is subject to forfeiture under ORS 131.550-131.600 as proceeds and/or instrumentalities used in the following prohibited conduct, and/or the solicitation, attempt or conspiracy to commit the following prohibited conduct: possession of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance and/or manufacture of a controlled substance. Forfeiture means that the property will be deprived of that interest without compensation because of the use or acquisition of the property in or through prohibited conduct as defined in ORS 131.550-131.600.
