MaryJane Ingersoll
Born Mary Anne Rider June 20, 1936 in Long Beach, Calif. to Lola Elvira Rider and Richmond Dorsay Rider. Graduated Woodrow Wilson High School in 1954 and graduated from Long Beach City College with a BA degree in 1956. Member of Entre Nous Sorority. During school years she was active in cheerleading, choirs, glee clubs and madrigal singers, plus she was class secretary.
In 1960s she was a docent at Ranchero Los Alamitos in Long Beach, Calif., Brownie Scout Leader, Girl Scout Leader, Indian Guide Mom, Tae Quandro Mom and played tennis and golf.
She worked for a hardwood flooring distributer for 13 years before moving to Oregon with her husband, Loyal F, Ingersoll Jr. She enjoyed helping to design and build their home which they did themselves in 1993-95, gardening while working full-time until her retirement in 2004.
Preceded in death are two brothers, Gerald S. Rider and Robert R. Rider. Survivors include her husband Loyal F. Ingersoll Jr., daughter Susan Diane Quimby and son Jeffrey Yorke Quimby, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
