**Valley Girls Quilt Show. Come down to I.V. Senior Center (520 E. River St., CJ) to view stunning quilts from the Illinois Valley never seen before. I.V. Senior Center will be offering lunch selections. Featuring country store, bingo, raffle quilt, raffle baskets. Admission $5, children 12 & under free. Friday 10-4, Saturday, 10-3.

**Illinois Valley Community Emergency Response Team (IVCERT) is holding an 8 evening CERT training class on consecutive Monday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 pm beginning October 23 and ending November 16. This class is free and is an opportunity to learn disaster survival skills. 541-415-9102 for info.

**Mark Seligman will host an event at the Wild River pub in Cave Junction, 5:30 p.m. October 24.
The event will primarily focus on the need to vote NO on this permanent taxing district.
It will also consider all the other tax proposals on the current ballot.
There will be Q & A and the public is invited.

**The Mission Warriors from the Cave Junction SDA Church will be having a Flea Market/Craft Fair on Friday, Oct. 27 & Sunday, Oct. 29 as a fundraiser for both local and international charities. Please stop by and take a look at all the wonderful treasures we will have available. We will be at 131 Redwood Hiway from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. both days.

**Food Pantry Tuesdays 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Cave Junction Adventist/Community Services Food Distribution, 265 S. Old Stage Rd. Volunteers are needed to help stock, date check, sort food, pack boxes and handout food boxes, etc. to volunteer please email cavejunctionacs@gmail.com.
