Wine in the Vines fundraiser for HOPE

Bridgeview Vineyards is the place to be Friday, Oct. 13 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the fundraiser for I.V. HOPE Village.
This fundraiser will have wine tastings compliments of Bridgeview Winery, paired with samples of food from Chef Kat and Twisted Cork, Trillium Bakery and Pappy T’s. There will also be nonalcoholic beverages available with the food pairings. While guests are sampling their drinks and food they can enjoy the ambience at the beautiful pond by watching the swans and listening to the soothing sounds of Alan Eisner on piano, alternating with Adam West on acoustic guitar.
Guests can help support the nonprofit Illinois Valley Living Solutions by participating in a silent auction with many treasures available: Del Rio Winery gift cards, artwork, collectibles, gift baskets, jewelry and much more. The evening will also have a live auction hosted by the I.V. News publisher Dan Mancuso, who will be offering guests a chance to buy a fishing trip, overnight stay at the Bridgeview vacation rental and other surprises.
This is your chance to have a nice evening out and also support I.V. HOPE Village, the transitional housing facility coming to the Valley in the city of Cave Junction. The Village is designed to help people who are ready to get off the streets and into stable housing by participating in case management services such as drug and alcohol treatment, mental health counseling, DHS, WorkSource Oregon and Housing Assistance. The Village will have 16 tiny housing units with a community center, fenced in an attractive, well-maintained setting with staff onsite. The board of IVLS believes that a caring community creates a better quality of life for everyone in it.
Members of the I.V. HOPE Village steering committee will be available at the fundraiser to showcase this new venture and answer questions that you may have. There will be opportunities for you to directly impact the lives of people in need of a hand up.
Bottles of wine and food will be available for purchase from the Bridgeview menu. Bridgeview Winery is located at 4210 Holland Loop Rd in Cave Junction and you can go to https://ivlivingsolutions.org to purchase tickets at the sliding scale of $25 -$50. You can also watch a slide show by going to the website to find more information about the transitional housing facility.
If you would prefer to buy paper tickets you can go to Wild Herb Apothecary at 116 N. Redwood Hwy. (with I.V. News) from 12 – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Another way to buy tickets would be to call 971-415-0281 or email ivlivingsol@gmail.com to find out the nearest place for you to buy tickets.
