Thomas R. Waddell was born May, 16, 1949 in San Francisco, Calif. and died at his home in Clearlake Oaks, Calif. on Aug. 4, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Susan Waddell. He is also survived by 9 of 10 of his children, 26 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He moved to Cave Junction in 1996 to get away from the hustle and bustle of West Sacramento’s busy life. He loved the mountains and scenery of Cave Junction has and settled here for about 20 years then moved back to California when the health of his wife started to decline.
He was a beloved father and Marine Vietnam War Veteran. His legacy of helping others in a time of need will live on in all the lives he touched by helping them.
Memorial services will be held Seapt. 30, 2023 at 1 p.m. at The Illinois River Forks State Park in Cave Junction. All are welcome to attend.
