*Justin Bennett had a felony warrant from Josephine County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) for failure to appear (FTA) for unlawful use of a weapon. Bennett was arrested at 12:04 p.m. near E. River Street and N. Old Stage Road, then detained in Josephine County Jail (JCJ).
*The driver of a white 2023 Honda Civic explained that she was not paying attention to her speed near Redwood Hwy. and Clear Creek Road at 7:13 p.m. Unfortunately for her, JCSO did notice. She was cited to appear Aug. 30 at Josephine County Circuit Court for driving 77 in a 55 miles per hour (MPH) zone.
Saturday, July 29
*Jessica Applegate was taken into custody at 1:21 p.m. near the 300 block of S. Redwood Hwy. Applegate was detained in JCJ on a misdemeanor warrant from Jackson County Sheriff’s Office for FTA for driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII).
*Guenter Ambron was charged with stalking order violation near the 200 block of Ivy Drive at 10:13 p.m. Ambron was detained in JCJ.
*A motorist in a gray 2008 BMW with no license plates was cited for doing 77 in a 30 MPH zone near W. Cottage Park Drive and Redwood Hwy. at 11:15 p.m.
