Tales from the Rural Patrol kept the community informed and doled out public floggings via satire. Technology has changed the process. *William Gates was warned for speed and failure to drive within lane near Caves Hwy. and Dogwood Lane at 11:13 p.m. He was cited for driving while suspended (DWS).
*David T. Otey was cited for driving 75 in a 45-zone near the 400 block of S. Redwood Hwy. at 10:22 p.m.

*A naked woman was running in and out of traffic near S. Redwood Hwy. and Hamilton Avenue at 10:51 a.m. Shannon Leeann Petersen was arrested near Raymond Street and detained in Josephine County Jail (JCJ) on a felony warrant from Josephine County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) for failure to appear (FTA) for burglary.
