NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Before the Josephine County Board of Commissioners

SUBJECT: The JOSEPHINE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, in accordance with the Land Use Hearing Rules, will conduct a public hearing for the second reading of Ordinance No. 2023-002 described as follows:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF JOSEPHINE COUNTY (ORDINANCE 81-11 AS AMENDED) TO AMEND THE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM PLAN (ORDINANCE 2022-011) TO INCLUDE ADOPTION OF US 199 (REDWOOD HWY.) CORRIDOR PLAN
ORDINANCE COPIES: Copies of the proposed ordinances are available for inspection or purchase at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners, 500 NW 6th Street, Room 154, Grants Pass, Oregon. A copy of the proposed ordinance has been furnished to each member of the Board of Commissioners one week prior to the public hearing for additional information concerning Ordinance No. 2023-002, you may call the Josephine County Community Development – Planning Division at (541) 474-5421 or planninghearings@co.josephine.or.us.

JLF 22-127724 TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF SALE

A default has occurred under the terms of a trust deed made by Linda C. Schiller, whose address is 330 Bolt Mountain Road, Grants Pass, OR 97527 as grantor to First American Title Insurance Company of Oregon, as Trustee, in favor of Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. acting solely as nominee for American Mortgage Network, Inc., dba American Mortgage Network of Oregon, its successors and assigns, as named Beneficiary, dated April 27, 2008, recorded May 5, 2008, in the mortgage records of Josephine County, Oregon, as Instrument No. 2008-007491, MCLP Asset Company, Inc. is the present Beneficiary as defined by ORS 86.705(2), as covering the following described real property: Commencing at the East Quarter corner of Section 10, Township 37 South, Range 6 West, Willamette Meridian, Josephine County, Oregon; thence South 0°32’35” West, 333.83 feet along the East line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 10, to the South line of Bolt Mountain Road, being the true point of beginning; thence continue on the same bearing along the East line of the Southeast Quarter, 961.24 feet to an iron pin; thence West 399.15 feet to an iron pin; thence North 6°35’ West 952.02 feet to an iron pin on the South right of way line of Bolt Mountain Road; thence along the South right of way line in an Easterly direction to the true point of beginning. Both the beneficiary and the trustee have elected to sell the said real property to satisfy the obligations secured by said trust deed and a notice of default has been recorded pursuant to Oregon Revised Statutes 86.752(3); the default for which the foreclosure is made is grantor’s failure to pay when due the following sums: Delinquent Monthly payments from March 1, 2021 in the sum of $6,050.87, and monthly payments in the amount of $144.23 from April 1, 2023 plus prior accrued late charges in the amount of $53.43, together with all costs, disbursements, and/or fees incurred or paid by the beneficiary and/or trustee, their employees, agents or assigns. WHEREFORE, notice hereby is given that the undersigned trustee will on August 17, 2023, at the hour of 9:00 AM PT, in accord with the standard time established by ORS 187.110, at the main entrance of the Josephine County Courthouse, located at 500 N.W. 6th Street, in the City of Grants Pass, OR, County of Josephine, State of Oregon, sell at public auction to the highest bidder for cash the interest in the said described real property which the grantor has or had power to convey at the time of the execution of said trust deed, together with any interest which the grantor or his successors in interest acquired after the execution of said trust deed, to satisfy the foregoing obligations thereby secured and the costs and expenses of sale, including a reasonable charge by the trustee. Notice is further given to any person named in ORS 86.778 that the right exists, at any time that is not later than five days before the date last set for the sale, to have this foreclosure proceeding dismissed and the trust deed reinstated by paying to the beneficiary of the entire amount due (other than such portion of the principal as would not then be due had no default occurred) and by curing any other default complained of herein that is capable of being cured by tendering the performance required under the obligations or trust deed, and in addition to paying said sums or tendering the performance necessary to cure the default, by paying all costs and expenses actually incurred in enforcing the obligation and trust deed, together with trustee’s fees and attorney’s fees not exceeding the amounts provided by said ORS 86.778. A Notice of Budget Committee Meeting

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Illinois Valley Rural Fire Protection District, Josephine County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, will be held at Fire District Administration Building, @ 681 Caves Hwy., Cave Junction, Oregon. The meeting will take place on June 5, 2023 at 4:00 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 12, 2022 by contacting the administration office at 541-592-3159.
This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. This notice is also available at www.ivfire.com
