Perfect day for annual Garden Club sale

Illinois Valley Garden Club member Patty Thompson (left) made beautiful bouquets to sell for Mother’s Day at the I.V. Garden Club Plant Sale Saturday, May 13. The event was a success with Valley residents lining up an hour before start time to buy plants. The garden club volunteers also offered a “Country Store” and a bake sale. The event proceeds go toward the IV High School scholarship fund.
