Josephine County Facilities Services is accepting sealed bids for the New Evidence Center Building for Josephine County. Sealed bids will be accepted at Josephine County Facilities Services, 705 NW Dimmick Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526 until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened and read, and after which time they will not be received or accepted. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted to: Ryan Johnson, Director, Josephine County Facilities Services, 705 NW Dimmick Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526.
This project requires the contractor to supply all expertise, personnel, equipment and materials for construction and installation of a pre-engineered metal building with office and warehouse space. An asphalt road and parking are planned for the north, south and west sides of the building to accommodate the transfer, storage and handling of various items being held for evidence. The project is located behind the existing Josephine County Sheriff’s Department Jail at 1901 NE “F” Street in Grants Pass, OR. Pre-Bid Conference: A non-mandatory pre-bid conference and walkthrough will begin in the lobby of the Josephine County Jail, 1901 NE “F” Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526 on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Bidders or their authorized representatives are encouraged, but not required, to attend this pre-bid conference.
Prequalification of Bidders is required. Bidders may obtain a Prequalification Application from Josephine County Facilities Services, 705 NW Dimmick Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526. The class of work for which Bidders must be prequalified is Construction. Prequalification Applications must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. on May 26, 2023.
This contract is for a public works project subject to prevailing wage rates under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870.
