Children’s poetry books donated to the Cave Junction Branch of the Community Library.
Illinois Valley Rotary Club donates children’s poetry books to the Illinois Valley branch of the JoCo Libraries in Cave Junction to celebrate National Poetry Month. Three dozen books were distributed during the weekly story time to engage children in reading and reciting poetry. Some of the selections included were: “Where the Sidewalk Ends,” “Forest Has a Song” and “I Am Just No Good At Rhyming.” Roberta Lee, branch manager, expressed her gratitude to the Rotary Club for their donations. She reported that the children had a great time with the poems.
