Kenneth Edward McDonald, 59 died at home cradled in his wife’s arms at 2:21 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2023. He had been battling a very rare form of cancer since June 2021. He is survived by his wife, Linda Elizabeth McDonald; his daughter, Crystal Marie Anton; four grandchildren in Georgia; his mother Souix McDonald and his brother David Bainer, both from Moses Lake, Wash. Ken moved to the Valley from Portland in 2011 and quickly fell in love with it. He always had time to cheer up anyone feeling blue and always made a point of reminding everyone of God’s love for them. He was a talented singer/songwriter and loved to play his guitar. He will be forever missed by everyone who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at Bridgeview Church April 29 at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Stephen Van Tuyl died at his home surrounded by loved ones Nov. 27, 2022. We will have a Celebration of His Life Friday, April 21, 2023, beginning at 11a.m. at Lake Selmac Trout Shelter. It will be open mic/ potluck style (hot dogs and burgers provided). Please plan to bring your instruments/ memories/ stories/ a favorite dish, etc. and join us in celebration of a wonderful man. If you happen to have a funny t-shirt please wear it, as that is something he often wore and enjoyed.
