March Madness

Rough and Ready Creek flows over and around Seats Dam Monday, March 13. According to Illinois Valley weather reporter Chris Granville from Selma, the year-to-date rainfall is now 35.70 inches. She also reported that 1.10 inches of rainfall in 24 hours was expected March 13 and road or creek flooding was possible. The good news is that the U.S. Drought Monitor indicates that the Illinois Valley is off the drought scale. You can visit https://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/CurrentMap/StateDroughtMonitor.
