Josephine County Facilities Services is accepting bids for the Courthouse and Justice Building Second Floor Remodel. Sealed bids will be accepted at Josephine County Facilities Services, 705 NW Dimmick Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526 until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened and read, and after which time they will not be received or accepted. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted to: Ryan Johnson, Director, Josephine County Facilities Services, 705 NW Dimmick Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526.
This project requires the contractor to supply all expertise, personnel, equipment and materials to remodel 11,416 SQ. FT. of the existing 2nd floor of the Justice Building, and 3,657 SQ. FT. of the adjacent 2nd floor Courthouse Building. Two (2) new court rooms are planned at the Justice Building, along with accessory spaces, including jury rooms with accessible restrooms, and office spaces. Remodeling work will include reconditioning existing spaces at the courthouse area. No additional square footage will be added to the existing buildings, and the original exterior integrity of the buildings will remain intact. Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference: A mandatory pre-bid conference and walkthrough will begin in the lobby of the Josephine County Justice Building, 510 NW 6th Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526 on March 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Bidders or their authorized representatives are required to attend this mandatory pre-bid conference. Bids will be accepted only from Bidders who have attended the pre-bid conference.
Prequalification of Bidders is required. Bidders may obtain a Prequalification Application from Josephine County Facilities Services, 705 NW Dimmick Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526. The class of work for which Bidders must be prequalified is Construction. Prequalification Applications must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. on March 24, 2023.
This contract is for a public works project subject to prevailing wage rates under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870.
