This is to give notice that on Monday, Feb. 13, 2023 at 7 p.m. the Cave Junction City Council is scheduled to conduct a meet in accordance with Land Use Hearing Rules and ORS 197.763, will hold a Public Hearing to consider a Zone Change and a Land Partition submitted by Jaysa LLC/Gary Price for property located at 435 S Junction Ave Assessor’s Map (39-08-21-AD TL 5000). This property is currently zoned Commercial and will become Single Family Residential. The lot is currently one tax lot at 2.07 Acres. The request would create two tax lots; the first one would be approximately 1.116 acres the second would be 1.318 acres. Possible actions include Approval, Approval with Conditions, Disapproval, Table, or Continue.

The City of Cave Junction is currently accepting applications for a full time Utility Clerk. An employee in this class will work in the Administrative Department performing a variety of clerical and secretarial duties required for the daily operation of the City. This position is responsible for significant contact with the general public, and is responsible for cashier work, managing the city’s webpage, receptionist duties and for managing the utility billing accounts. The individual in this position will be expected to quickly master the Continental Billing System, clearly and effectively communicate with the public on a daily basis, assist in completing applications for water/sewer accounts and bulk water accounts, adhere to strict deadlines and work with the public works staff. The position provides support to the planning department and to the City Recorder and other related work as required. Must have experience of general office practices, record keeping practices, appropriate cash handling procedures, and experience working with various software applications to include utility billing software, Excel, Word, and Publisher.
Full Time Position – 40 hours per week
Pay Scale: $19.46 – $26.12/per hour
This is a Union Position represented by Oregon Teamsters Local Union No. 223.
