Dorothy Jean Campbell McGuire, 82, died Dec. 30, 2022 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.
Dorothy was born May 15, 1940 in Grants Pass.
She is survived by children Anne Norris of Grants Pass; Doug McGuire of Oakland, Ore.; Carla Maples of Smith River, Calif.; Lori Ridenour of Cave Junction; Steve McGuire of Grants Pass; and Chris McGuire of Bonney Lake, Wash.; brothers Jim Campbell and Don Campbell both of Grants Pass and Ron Campbell of Smith River, Calif.; sisters Linda Campbell of Crescent City, Calif. and Shirley Williamson of Brookings, Ore.; 16 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a special ‘daughter’ Pam Compton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew McGuire; her father John Ralph Campbell Sr.; her mother Gladys Ruth Goldsby Campbell; sister Patricia Davis; brothers Gary Campbell and John “Jack” Campbell Jr; grandson Curtis McGuire; and great-grandson David Ridenour-Philpott.
A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Jan. 14, 2023 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors with Pastor Monty Pope officiating. Interment followed at Deer Creek Cemetery in Selma.
