Jay Miller Memorial Poker Tourny held

More than $1,500 was raised for the IVHS wrestling team in honor of longtime IVHS wrestling coach Jay Miller. The Kerby Belt Masons held the Jay Miller Memorial poker tournament featuring the game Texas Holdem Jan. 21 at the lodge in Kerby.
According to co-organizer Kathy Putney more than 50 players attended and was won by Dan Mancuso, followed by Micky Anis in second and Woody Baneau took third.
During the tournament Lynn Miller and her crew served food and soft drinks with the proceeds donated to the wrestlers as well.
Co-organizer Lloyd Putney siad, “We were pleased with community support for the wrestling coaches along with the trubute to Jay Miller.”
