This is to give notice that on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. the Cave Junction City Council is scheduled to conduct a meet in accordance with Land Use Hearing Rules and ORS 197.763, will hold a Public Hearing to consider a Zone Change and a Land Partition submitted by Jaysa LLC/Gary Price for property located at 435 S Junction Ave Assessor’s Map (39-08-21-AD TL 5000). This property is currently zoned Commercial and could become become Single Family Residential. The lot is currently one tax lot at 2.07 Acres. The request would create two tax lots; the first one would be approximately 1.116 acres the second would be 1.318 acres. Possible actions include Approval, Approval with Conditions, Disapproval, Table, or Continue.

SUMMARY STATEMENT OF BASIS FOR CRIMINAL FORFEITURE
On 01/18/22; 06/15/22, the above-described property was seized by the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office. The property is subject to forfeiture under ORS 131.550-131.600 as proceeds and/or instrumentalities used in the following prohibited conduct, and/or the solicitation, attempt or conspiracy to commit the following prohibited conduct: possession of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance and/or manufacture of a controlled substance. Forfeiture means that the property will be deprived of that interest without compensation because of the use or acquisition of the property in or through prohibited conduct as defined in ORS 131.550-131.600.
