Obituaries

Kenneth Ray Holmes, 59, of Selma, died peacefully in his sleep Dec.16, 2022.
He was born Nov. 7, 1963 in Jeannette, Penn. In 2020 he moved to Selma from Smithton, Penn.
Crazy Kenny was louder than life and full of love and laughter. He had immeasurable pride for his daughters and wholeheartedly cherished his grandchildren Izayah, Lilly and Bubba.
Kenny’s favorite hobby was rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed traveling, hiking, fishing, hunting and driving his 1984 Corvette.
He was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his children Hanna Holmes, Heather Holmes, Amber Griffin, and Renee Holmes; mother Hannelore Steiner; stepmother MaryAnn Holmes; sisters Pamela Holmes, Stephanie Rupert, MaryAnn (Stephen) Kenderish, Michelle (Jaime) Boord, Debora Steiner, and Christina (Stevan) Cady; brothers Ronald (Denise) Holmes, William (Lisa Rotherham) Holmes, David (Kim Temple) Holmes, Michael (Dorothy) Holmes, and James (Summer) Steiner; and grandchildren Izayah, Lilly and Bubba.
He was preceded in death by his father William Howard Holmes and grandchildren Nevaeh Griffin and Ace Mullin.
