Save the Date

Dec. 3 & 4
**Shop local for the holidays AND help ensure the Class of 2023 has a safe & sober graduation! Join the community for shopping & socializing at the Illinois Valley High School Holiday Bazaar, held over the weekend Dec. 3 and 4.
To sell your wares, the booth fee is $50/booth. All vendor fees benefit the IVHS Safe & Sober Grad Night, an all-night party for our graduating seniors on the evening of graduation. Call 541-295-2950 to become a vendor, and let’s support our graduating seniors by shopping at the Holiday Bazaar Dec. 3 & 4 at Illinois Valley High School.

Dec. 10
IVFD will be hosting Santa Clause Sat. Dec. 10 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Cookies, coffee and hot chocaloate will be served. Grab your camera and head to 682 Caves Hwy.

Dec. 15
The Annual Meeting of the Illinois Valley Soil & Water Conservation District will be held Dec. 15, 2022, 6 p.m. at the IVSWCD Office located at 331 E Cottage Park Drive Suite 1B.
There will be refreshments, speakers, and a White Elephant Gift Exchange. As with all IVSWCD meetings, the public is welcome.

Tuesdays
**Food Pantry Tuesdays 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Cave Junction Adventist/Community Services Food Distribution, 265 S. Old Stage Rd. Volunteers are needed to help stock, date check, sort food, pack boxes and handout food boxes, etc. to volunteer please email cavejunctionacs@gmail.com.

**Take your bottles and cans to IVCanDo’s Cans for Kids behind the Chevron Station 10 – 2.

**Drop-in Storytime at Josephine County Library in Cave Junction, 11am ​- 2pm, with stories read aloud by Deborah every half hour and a themed craft available all day. For families on a tight time schedule, craft kits are available to take home!

**Adopt-A-Senior Volunteers wanted to assist senior and disabled residents in their home with light duty activities and /or socialization and to drive residents to doctor or grocery store. Gift cards are provided for volunteers. Background check and references required call 541-592-9781 or email ivwellnessresources@gmail.com.

** HIV Alliance offers services in Cave Junction every Tuesday from noon – 3 p.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church (across from Shop Smart). Services include: Free and confidential HIV and Hep C testing. Needle Exchange and drop box (all syringes welcome), and overdose response and Naloxone training.
