*A report was filed for first-degree burglary and two counts of menacing after a bully with a bat threatened two individuals in the 3900 block of Rockydale Road at 1:27 a.m.
*A persistent trespasser tried to pry open a metal door at O’Brien General Store at 5:10 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 26
*A resident in the 2100 block of Caves Hwy. was bitten by a raccoon, according to a report received at 7:41 a.m.
*A tan 1999 Ford F250 diesel truck, late 80s Chevrolet Camaro, 1962 Chevy Nova, and a Geo Tracker were reported missing from the 500 block of Briar Lane at 7:54 a.m.
*A belligerent red-haired meth-user screamed at motorists to leave her alone when they turned around in a parking lot in the 5000 block of Holland Loop at 12:28 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 27
*At 8:16 p.m. a guy complained that a gal in a silver-colored Subaru Baja harassed him and tried to hit him while he walked in the 200 block of W. Watkins Street.
Wednesday, Sept. 28
*At 6:22 a.m. a fellow claimed he had just been released from prison, then he banged on the windows of a bakery near S. Hussey Avenue and W. Lister Street. (Bringing a cake to his ex-roomies?)
*Two gals who set up their tent in a parking lot were hostile to employees in the 100 block of S. Kerby Avenue at 9:09 a.m. The campers are in for a long wait until that branch of Department of Motor Vehicles reopens.
*A 1966 Ford Thunderbird was stolen from the 100 block of Turnagain Drive in December 2021, but the owner spotted the vehicle in Cave Junction at 12:38 p.m. The Thunderbird was recovered quick as lightning.
*A woman, 50, was deceased in the 9400 block of Takilma Road at 1:36 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 29
*At 10:23 a.m. a resident in the 300 block of Fir Drive had a rude awakening when she realized her purse and a black 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 were missing. The Ram belonged to her boyfriend, who let her use the vehicle while he was in prison.
*Carly Brooke Jensen was detained in JCJ following her arrest in the 200 block of S. Redwood Hwy. at 12:47 p.m. Jensen was charged with trespass and escape.
*A naked Maxwell Smart imitator held a shoe to his ear as he rested in a drainage ditch in the 200 block of W. Watkins Street at 8:43 p.m. Anthony Grebisz was arrested at 9:44 p.m. and detained in JCJ for second-degree disorderly conduct.
Friday, Sept. 30
*A driver’s day was ruined when he crashed into a bruin near milepost 14 of Hwy. 199 at 9:01 a.m.
Saturday, Oct. 1
*There was probable cause for five counts each of domestic menacing and recklessly endangering following an incident involving fire at 12:46 a.m. in the 3300 Caves Hwy.
