Get ready to celebrate “Spirit of the Illinois Valley” with the Illinois Valley Lions Club Labor Day Festival being held Sept. 3, 4 and 5 at the Jubilee Park in Cave Junction.
This is the 49th year that the I.V. Lions have hosted this festival for all the communities in the Illinois Valley. The three days will include the Lions Burger Booth; vendors with crafts, food, jewelry; banana split offered by the Kerbyville Museum, art, flag and boutique booths; dunk tank, demonstrations; Tuff Truck event Saturday and Sunday; beer garden; T-shirts; greased pole; Lions train rides for the kids; music and dancing in the evenings; softball and cornhole tournaments; pancake breakfast; free school supplies all three days; kids carnival booths; and a parade down Redwood Hwy on Monday, Sept. 5 beginning at 10 a.m.
The drawing for the 2022 Harley Davidson will be held Monday, Sept. 5 at 6 p.m.
