Bridgeview Winery is the perfect spot in the Valley to relax with a glass of wine while watching the beautiful swans swim on the pond. The “original” tasting room is open again with some exciting new additions.
Due to the pandemic, Bridgeview had to close its doors for awhile but now they are opened back up for wine sales and tasting with a new food menu available.
According to co-owner and winemaker Rene Eichmann, “We opened back up in March for table side service.”
Eichmann also said they are now taking event reservations and the new advertising and sales representative Marisa Tromler is available to help you. “You can reserve weddings, anniversaries, parties, yoga classes and memorials and much more,” said Tromler, who was very enthusiastic about her new position. “Rene is a fun boss and it is such a laid back atmosphere to work at.”
Joyce Abrams from Southern Oregon Guild just happened to drop by during the interview and she said, “I am delighted they have started serving food.” Abrams was all smiles while being served by new wine tender Amber Webb, a local who just returned from Oregon State University.
Eichmann said the menu consists of local bread from the Cave Junction Farmers’ Market. Other menu items include a baked brie cheese, veggie plate, empanadas, and crackers with cheese and meat.
Tromler was excited about an event the winery is hosting xxxxxx.
The open tasting room for value priced, award winning wines is not all that is going on at the vineyard on Holland Loop. There is now a newly remodeled Airbnb vacation rental upstairs over the tasting room overlooking the beautiful pond and vines with mountain views. You can relax in a new hot tub outside on the deck, and use the full-size kitchen and large living area that sleeps four guests. You can go to airbnb.com to make a reservation
Furthermore, Bridgeview is now a Harvest Host destination, which is a RV Camping Network for overnight stays at farms, wineries, breweries and attractions.
And starting Sept. 16 there will be a Friday Happy Hour from 6-9 p.m. at Bridgeview. This will give folks who work during the week a chance to enjoy the winery and watch the colorful sunsets by the pond.
